Great condition 2nd model M37 Luftwaffe officers dagger made by Schüttelhöfer & Co complete with portepee. Aluminum cross guard and pommel screw. Pommel crosses are 80% gold gilded. White celluloid grip with in tact grip wiring. Steel blade in fantastic condition showing cross grain on both sides. The backside of the blade is etched with the rare A. Schüttelhöfer & Co “Asso” logo. The steel scabbard has nice aluminum scabbard bands. The single scabbard screw is in place. The dagger comes with a short Luftwaffe portepee attached. Light damage to the portepee can be seen on the pictures.
