Aluminum production 1st model Luftwaffe dagger made by R. Herder. Overall medium condition. Aluminum crossguard, pommel, scabbard fittings, chain, and clip. Gold gilt still present on the swastikas. Original blue leather-covered grip and scabbard. The pommel screw is bent forward. The steel blade has a lot of corrosion. It is etched with the R. Herder logo on the backside. The scabbard screws are missing or damaged. The leather buffer pad is still present. The lightweight aluminum chain is in good condition and has an aluminum clip stamped with the Ges.Gesch. and the oLc mark.
